If I recall correctly, Highlands has done that before. That’s why they had to play on Thanksgiving at Bell County in 1992. Probably not as big a deal as it used to be with all the video out there now.

Not a big deal. I don't blame the KHSAA for the bye and I don't blame BW for taking a stand. I personally kinda like the chippiness in a coach.

 

As a general rule, opponents are a little too chummy these days. Nothin wrong with a little p & vinegar.

The only program I remember with "Super 8" video back in the early 70s was Frankfort HS. I enjoyed watching those games in color. Every other school's video,at least the ones I saw, Boyle's opponents during that time, used 16 mm.

 

Glad to see someone else out there is as old as I am!

 

My guess is that both teams in this situation have all the video they want on each other.

We did the same thing when I worked at Beechwood only it was in the 80s.

 

We had a Secret Scout Weapon at Beechwood, his name was Mike Bowling. If I have a couple of more drinks tonight I might tell the story.
