The thing is its not weak schedule talk. Its a fact! I know Paris has some great athletes no question about it. Better than Ashland? Better than Somerset? Paintsville? My point is we have seen better than we will see Friday night. They have not, in my opinion thats a huge advantage for the Rams!

That's correct. That wasn't the point. The point was that we have seen better competition than we will see at Paris. They have not played anyone ion the level that they will see. Again I think that is a huge advantage that we have coming to this game.

By the way I meant 48 mins. And yes but best defense lineman has torn acl. With that said we have to rally and go play ball. Plenty of weapons and in my opinion the best Qb in 1@. New offensive coordinator Patrick Towles will get his first taste of 1@ playoffs.

 

Had no idea Towles was OC or even in the Lexington area for that matter, didn't

he finish his college career in Boston and tried out for multiple NFL teams. Does he have ties to the Paris area?

I mean not sure why he didn't play at Knox Central this year, but he's given the opportunity to play so he should. Usually that's not the case.

If Renfro plays that makes Paris a much different team. He has size and speed. Offensively you have a guy that can go over top, defensively you have a guy that can set edge and pass rush.

I like Paris. Just because.

Point well taken that Raceland has played a superior schedule.

They have struggled in two areas - consistent offense and TURNOVERS.

 

Paintsville nearly laid a running clock on the Rams, with nearly being the operative word. How much did Pville persevere after opening a big lead?????????

Pantsville also laid an easy running clock on Nicholas County. Maybe immaterial - Maybe not. Throw out the Paris-Nicholas Co game - No Eric Johnson for Paris.

 

I think, that due to the fact that our line didn't match up with either team, we made their offenses probably look MUCH better than they really are.

I really like Eric Johnson. While he doesn't score as often as his running-mates, I think he is capable of breaking some big plays and will see many more touches in this one, than against the Mustangs when he was returning to action after a layoff.

 

I heard the Raceland radio man harp on the fact that the Rams had to cut down on turnovers in order to go deep in the playoffs. He's right, the Rams turned the ball over to us three times in the first half when the game was still a game.
