I'm entitled to feel the way I feel about tonight. If you go look at my predictions I'm not to bad. I know how good our offense is and this game won't be played on film til after the game so yes I do think my hounds put up points tonight and I'm sticking to it.

I was by no means trying to infringe on the way you feel. You are entitled to your opinion. However I know without a doubt this is the best defense that Paris will have seen all year. Not a lot of points vs holy cross or Nicholas and this defense is better than both of those.

Here's the problem with games being not as close as the score indicates. Greenup at Bourbon wasn't nearly as close as 34-30. Greenup scored on a fluke fumble recovery, was gifted a TD right before halftime when the runner clearly didn't cross the goal line and finally at the end, Bourbon was playing a prevent defense and Greenup scored with under a minute left. The score realistically should have been 34-10.

Greenup could have won that game. 24-24 and driving a high snap stopped that drive. The fumble recovery TD was inside the 20. That games was two pretty evenly matched teams. Big plays won it for Bourbon. They have a very athletic team but a very suspect defense. Will be exposed vs Ashland.

At Holy Cross, Paris lost the starting center, rb, and 2 wr in the first half. Nicholas Co. has played Paris tough since the 80s. According to BGP Preseason, Paris was picked 3rd or 4th in the district, but that's none of my business.

What game were you watching? Bourbon dominated Greenup the entire first half. Ashland may expose us but Greenup didn't. Take your L and live with it.

Taking a look at Racelands schedule all the teams they have beat aren't in the playoffs. But every team that has beat them are still in.

Paris has two teams left in the playoffs they have beat and 1 team in the playoffs that they didn't beat.

Racelands losses are to teams 9-2,10-1,10-1, and 7-4. Those are to Ashland,Portsmouth West,Somerset and Paintsville.

Paris only loss came to a 6-5 Louisville Holy Cross team.

Paris opponent's records are 42-66. Easy to win when you play Popcorn State every week.

But as Paris fans have stated on here when you have 7-8 offensive weapons the holy Cross game shouldn't have made a difference. Did Maggard and Eric Johnson play that game? It's not like Paris runs a pass heavy offense, they average 120 passing yards a game. And anyone who uses the The Catspause rankings as a pre season marker, needs to revaluate what Literature they're reading.

Just about 5 hours from now it will all be sorted out. Boys are focused and ready. On the road already and chomping to get it on.

Reality check!

Time for us to let go of what happened up til tonight. Paris wins bc they will be the better team tonight.

Long bus ride home.

BGP Preseason had Paris and Bracken County ranked as the two top teams in their district.

Well Folks, it's been a fun week on this thread. Good Luck to both teams, I hope it's a classic and an injury free battle. May the best team win!

This thread makes me want to leave Rupp early and stop by Paris on the way home! Good luck to both teams!
