Pole dancing is the only one I would not want to be added. Another random activity with no subjective means to measure your accomplishment. Beat your opponent outright or don't call it a competition. Get rid of gymnastics, ice skating etc.

Gymnastics is cool as hell. Just because there are no "head to head" battles doesn't mean you aren't competing. Yes it's a judged competition, but the judging process is very scientific.

I'm gonna assume you haven't met many of the talented biology majors gracing stages across America daily.

 

They do have a leg up on the competition. Their sponsors have deep pockets too.

So, when they build the venue for pole dancing, will it look something like Cheetah III's in Atlanta, replete with a wrap around bar surrounding the stage? And will the patrons be required to carry a minimum number of $1 bills to get into the event?:idunno:

Yeah, that Russian judge is always fair LOL. Most of it happens too quick for the human eye to properly judge. And if it was that scientific why do you need more than one judge?

That is a strong idea, totally eliminates the figure skating scandals of the past with suspect scores.

I believe the talent pool would be weighted more towards the young women who are earnestly working their way through college.

I'm sure every major city already has the proper venues, no reason to build new ones and waste money.

The only one I've ever seen professionally is pole dancing.
