I see flaws in the construction of the roster, and I'm simply expressing it... Didn't mean to come across as dismissive. I appreciate your thoughts on this team and always enjoy your input. I tend to believe what I see with my own eyes, and I see lots of talent and versatility with this group. Agree to disagree.

I just don't think the "versatility" compliments itself well on the offensive end. We'll find out soon enough...

October 14, 20179 yr Agreed. It all starts on the defensive end. Unlike some Of Cal's teams, all the pieces to the puzzle are there. Gabriel looks to be set for a big year. We are drastically missing shooting. I'd say the majority of Cal's team have been better constructed than this one. But I still have relatively high hopes.

October 14, 20179 yr Sounds more like gametime than it does an elite level point guard. I'm not sold on Quade.. I think the PG position is going to be an issue with this team..
October 14, 20179 yr I don’t follow recruiting as much as others but I don’t hear much about Baker being discussed. I thought everyone was talking about what a great shooting guard he is when he was recruited. I heard Rex Chapman say he was a similar shooter to Doran Lamb. But I realize there’s more to the game than just shooting. Does he have limitations other than shooting that will hold him back?
October 14, 20179 yr I'm also concerned about the PG position. I believe the Alexander kid will be the best option. We will see.
October 14, 20179 yr Am I the only one who likes Green at the point. The obvious comparison is Ulis because of size, but he's not the scorer Ulis was. But I think the kid has natural leadership abilities and is what this team needs at the point. If they are going to be good offensively it will be because the guards will distribute the ball well. Just my .02 cents.
