Until white America looks in the mirror and realizes we are the root of the race issues in this country, it will never get better. I have said repeatedly that white America in large part either decides to ignore the issue or manages to change the target when it makes them uncomfortable. It either makes them uncomfortable or they don't care.
October 9, 20178 yr I saw the Dolphins have now made it a rule they will stand for the flag. Jerry Jones also issued a statement yesterday their players will stand or not play. I thought the hoopla was going to die down as the stations are not showing the anthem any more and no one really is speaking about it. And then, yesterday, you had Pence's actions and the two NFL owners issuing statements and making rules the players must stand. I don't think it's going away anytime soon.

Now that would require more than token "look at me" actions that have been ballooned by the media to levels of racial divide unseen in our country for the last 40 years.
