Campbell County at Simon Kenton Predictions

Featured Replies

Looks like another "must-win" week for both these teams. Winner will take a big step, loser will have a foot in the playoff grave.

Both have looked good at times, shaky at others.

Offensive shoot-out maybe?

Thoughts?

Should be a good game, both teams have athletic QB's, Campbell won the game in Alexandria last season, I think CC will remember being snubbed from the playoffs, I believe they'll be ready, hopefully SK can match that intensity.

Biggest game of the year for both teams. Winner will most likely be in the playoffs, and the rest of their games will determine their seed. The loser can pray for the situation that happened last year or else they are done.

I assume this will be SK's homecoming and a big-time headknocking game. Campbell is better on defense than SK. SK's only big advantage is at running back because both team's QB's are pretty solid and each team has some good receivers. Campbell has a better kicker and that could ultimately decide this important game. I give the edge to Campbell even though SK's season is likely a 10-gamer if they do not protect home turf Friday night.

Got to give the edge to Campbell County. They seem to be a more solid team on offense and defense. SK is turning into an offense only team going down the stretch. SK is giving up points by the truck load. In the last 10 quarters (and an ot vs. Dixie), they have given up almost 100 points on defense. Got to give the edge to CC, but it should be a good one...

I do agree but don't forget 34 of those points were in 2 guarters against a team with good speed which SK's sturggled to stop lately....

I have a hard time stomaching SK losing their homecoming, though it's possible, I'm not gonna say it's likely.

I'll take SK by at least 14...

Simon Kenton 27-22.

Campbell wont forget missing the playoffs. they will need 4 solid quarters, expect a head banging game just like last year. campbell will be ready

Campbell by 7

It will not be the same situation as last year because SK didn't beat Boone or Dixie and I doubt they'll beat Ryle... Last year was a 3-way tie between SK who beat Boone, Boone who beat Campbel, and Campbell who beat SK, for 3rd that allowed Boone to take the 3 and SK to take the 4.. That said, SK loses and they're done... This will be a hard fought battle with (I hate to say it) Campbell coming out on top 28-15:cry:

I think home field plays a big part in this game and add in Home coming . SK pulls it out in the 4th Qter 24-21 !:scared:

May be so but with SK's lack of a kicking game I doubt their # of points will be 24, might be more but not 24...

I don't see Simon Kenton winning this game. I wouldnt be surprised to see them lose by about 17.
