Nothing like a good crosstown showdown especially when it's in Title Town. Boyle County makes the short trip to Danville High School to take on arch rival Danville Admirals.

Both teams have blown out their first two opponents so far.

One thing that's surprising is that for the past several seaons this game has been blow outs with both teams winning.

This will be a must watch game and you better get there early to find a seat.

Can't wait for this one. I've seen them both play this year and this will be a great game. BC handled Waggnner but 4-6 TO's by Waggner. Danville handled KC but 6-8 TO's by KC. Boyle seeking revenge after the embarrassing running clock in the first half on their home field last year.

ADS trying to make it two W's in a row, will they???

Regardless of what happens, both of these teams could end up at Kroger field in December.

Boyle won't match Danville's speed. But I'll be interested to see if they can control the trenches.

Danville is pretty well rounded as Knox Central found out the hard way. I think Danville finds a way to win but it wouldn't surprise me at all if Boyle wins.

Boyle for the first time in years will match Danville's speed on the field and I believe Boyles depth will be a factor in the second half. Boyle wins this one 34-17.

If Boyle holds Danville to 17 or fewer points, I'll actually shoot a crow and eat it on a live feed.

I have watched both. It will come down to whether or not Danville turns it over. Boyle kills you with turnovers and Danville limits them they win hands down. As for all the speed the Boyle vs s claim to have, it is better than years past but on a football field there will be no one on vancleaves level. Depth wise the ads have enough depth to compete. As I said if the ads limit turnovers they win because Boyle still has trouble with speed.

I wish there was some way we could hold you to this.

For the record, I don't expect anyone to hold Danville under 20 points this season. This game will be a shootout, I think. Somewhere in the 42-35 range.

For Danville or any team to beat Boyle it will have to be through the air completing passes in the 12-20 yard range and keeping turnovers to a minimum. The team with the fewest penalties and turnovers will win.

I don't think Danville will have enough balance on offense to beat Boyle, weather the Danville faithful wants to admit it or not compared to last year they have a gaping hole at the QB position this season.

I've seen him throw two bad passes in two games. One was intercepted, one he got lucky on. I've also seen him throw a 70-yard TD and rush for a 35-yard TD. He's different but he's not bad

Didn't say he was bad but he's not in the same stratosphere as Dampier was, Boyle's secondary has 6 or 7 interceptions in two games with at least 3 returned for TD'S so I would expect Smith to take away the run game and make him beat Boyle with his arm.

I think this outcome will be really simple...Boyle will be able to contain Danville's speed or they won't.
