Hearing that discussions are going on to possibly move this game to another day. Possibly Saturday

 

Saturday's forecast isn't much better......looks like rain on top of rain.

 

I hear the soccer game may get moved to tonite...which frees up Thursday night for football. However, I think if you were going to move a football game up a day, it should have been decided much earlier in the week.

The first thing I heard was a possible triple-header Saturday with soccer and football. If they move the soccer game to tonight, that would likely make football tomorrow night. I say let's play in the monsoon on Friday.

Same when I played. There was one time where players needed to be able to swim or at least dog paddle to avoid drowning during the game.

Played in rain other times but the Fall of '79 was particularly wet as I recall. We must have played in 4 or 5 muddy games that year.

Sounds like soccer will be moved to tonight and football will be tomorrow night but nothing has been announced yet. Seems like the most likely scenario at this point.

I hope they just play it as scheduled.

The word from the soccer coaches is that everything will be played as scheduled. Awesome :thumb:
