Exactly, it shows how far the program has fallen in a short time. This would be the equivalent of Kentucky basketball rushing the court in the last 40 years. I understand it's a win in OT, but Highlands used to be disappointed if they didn't win state. They don't even count regional titles. So, rushing the field for a win against Campbell County, who has only beaten them once in how many decades, is kind of disheartening if I was a Highlands fan.

You don't think there has been a lot of negative Highlands talk the past two years? Semi Finals that year was great! They beat Cov Cath twice!

Bad news is Highlands has to travel to Scott County next.

Scott County QB threw some nice passes tonight. Don't forget Scott County Oline is good they have the best lineman in the state and possibly the country in 6'5 290 Bryan Hudson.

Seriously, complaining about students rushing the field to congratulate their team? Man, hard core in the Fort Thomas. Glad to hear the students support their team, maybe the adults will now.

 

Granted it is a bunch of high schoolers, but when you are 53-9 against a team, that doesn't seem to warrant field rushing. Again, I am happy for the win, but expectations are high in Ft. Thomas.

Camels got homered this game big time. First cakeater td camel defender was horse collered by #65 in front of the line judge. Pick six block in the back they pick up the flag??? I saw it, it happened.

No way CCHS should have lost this game but they did.

Homered? Hahahahahahaha. I mean I really cannot believe the excuses. It was a GREAT game! Can't we just leave it at that? Again, both side can look back and find bad calls and mistakes their team made. Quit with the excuses.

 

In my opinion, Campbell co dominated that game for about 3 quarters of it. But the reality is, if the Birds extra point execution doesn't have a breakdown, we don't even go to overtime. See how this works with all the "ifs, and's and but's"?

Wow I'm soooooooo glad we played this game in week 2. Imagine the excuses week 9 or 10 about how if we still had this Player & that Player. Because you do know that's what it Boils down to....Right?

 

A different Culture of Commitment and there's no way around it. And that eats the Camel faithful up! Trust me, it doesn't matter how good of a team of players you guys have......You are never changing the Culture in Alexandria. Period! Keep bringing the Excuses!

Forced turnovers do not constitute having a game "given" to the Birds. The kids stepped up and made plays to earn those turnovers. Also, if the Camel deep man did not touch the punt, why was he frantically going after it when it hit the ground? He got beaten to the ball, but he knew it was a fumble.
