August 2, 20179 yr I just seen on Facebook where Trica Macke posted about a teen sitting in a hamock a tree fell on her and killed her. She was only 14 years old very sad. Prayers to her family.

August 2, 20179 yr This happened right behind my house. This is just so sad. I feel so bad for her family. I feel so bad for the my neighbors who had a group of kids over to eat pizza and just hang out. I feel so bad for the kids who watched this happen to their friend. It is beyond bewildering. Hug your loved ones every chance you get.

August 2, 20179 yr This is absolutely heartbreaking. I graduated with this young lady's mom and mom's brother is active at St. Mary Parish. You won't find a better family than this. Prayers going out to the family and friends of this young lady.
August 2, 20179 yr The look on ALL of the parents faces I will never forget. My wife cried herself to sleep last night. This is just incredible. And the house it happened at....that family has been through the wringer battling their son's illness for the last 18 months. Good people don't deserve these type of things, you know?
August 2, 20179 yr Really a Empty feeling right now..... I greeted my Daughter when she got home last night who happens to be a fellow Classmate. No words! We hugged and we had some small talk. I'm not so sure my daughter really knows what to expect right now....You try to imagine what the Family is going through and then a Huge lump arrives in your Throat immediately. Your mind races like no other.....You cry, you think.....You think why is Life so unfair? You wonder why the heck did this happen to such a beautiful young lady? You say to yourself, there's noway that could ever happen to us. My wife's expression when she greeted me at the door last night....It was so surreal! The family lives a stone's throw from where we live and I can still picture her as she walked by the house on her way home.....My heart is Empty! Please keep the Family, our Community & her fellow Classmates in your prayers!
