May 3, 20188 yr What say should they have in the matter, and what is the basis for the suit? From what they said, it has to do with the community agreement part of the deal. They can deem that the deal is not good for the community as a third party advocate in the deal. (I only caught part of the discussion today.) Either way, my point still stands that a stadium deal will never get done, MLS knows this and is just stringing it all along because thats what they do.
May 11, 20188 yr Doesn't look like this deal is going to happen. West end council wants FC Cincy to build 10 million in low income housing, pay 3 million a year for a performing arts group/venue (I didn't really understand what they were saying on this one) and other funds for other odd duck things. Also reported that Cincy City Council will now not approve the deal unless the West End Council and OTR Council demands are met. 5/17/18 is the new rumored date MLS has given the team to get a deal done.
May 17, 20188 yr FCC and the West End Community Cancel struck a deal after a day of negotiating. Deal was signed. Seems that everything is in order for the 5/17 date.
May 24, 20188 yr Tuesday is the Day....FC Cincinnati Expansion Bid is Imminent Major League Soccer is coming to Cincinnati next week, and league officials are likely bringing with them an invitation for Futbol Club Cincinnati to join their ranks. Sources confirmed to The Enquirer that a major club announcement is coming Tuesday and MLS commissioner Don Garber will be in attendance.

Ticket prices will at a minimum double with a move to MLS. That's the only concern I have, and it's minor. Soccer is not a cheap sport. This area has a ton of soccer supporters. IMO, the typical soccer fan is going to be able to afford to attend even at the higher price point.
May 24, 20188 yr I wonder when they will begin play in the league. 2019 or 2020? Nashville got their bid months ago and they aren’t entering MLS until 2020. It will be at least then.
