It is not clear to me. As a matter of fact, I really think Comey's testimony last week was the final nail in his coffin.

Most of my feelings on this and any other crying wolf by the Democrats comes from not being able to trust anyone thats as corrupt as they are. They could be 100% right and I cannot trust them because of what they have been caught red handed doing, not what they have been accused of doing. Big difference. It would not matter what it was they were crying about, I could never believe them and would question their motives. And their motives in this is to save face and get rid of Trump or any other party that is against the agenda of the far left.

It was my opinion and now it's been proven true.

I will say this, I had the pleasure of working with a handful of FBI Agents and they were all top notch. I nearly refuse to believe that men and women of that kind of character and skill would all participate in a cover up.

 

I also think the new Director (when he or she is named) has a duty, even if it is outside of her/his lane, to go public with that type of information if anyone tries to cover it up.

 

Additionally, if we find your hypothetical to be true, then the investigation should immediately be handed over to a special prosecutor.

 

 

I had a week of golf with former FBI personnel from the Cincy office. There are 4 in our group of 16. They are all retired and have been for several years. I concur that they all seem to be of high integrity. They are not Trump fans but loathe HRC. They didn't so much Obama and had some level of respect for him, although I doubt any voted for him or liked him, but HRC they did not hide their dislike and had no respect for her.

 

They stated the same things you have, but that was before the firing. I will find out soon and get their take on it.

 

They know what I would say and answer the question I asked. If they thought I was wrong we would have a good discussion. If they thought I was right they'd probably say little and move the conversation to something else.

 

 

One of them was an investigator in the Pete Rose stuff. Although he would not tell me/us specifics or anything about the case. He did tell us all kinds of stuff about Pete and his opinion of him.
