Dixie 37 Simon Kenton 34 3 OTs

SK had first posession in OT, socred on 2nd and 22 when Ponzer made the one handed grab (probably the best catch I've seen by a Neer, ever). Dixie then scored on their first play a pass to their FB. SK then held Dixie to 7 yards and forced them to kick a FG. SK attempted a lob pass on first, then ran the ball on 2nd, got sacked on 3rd and then made a fg. SK kicked a fg in the 3rd OT and then Bricking capped it off with a TD pass to end the game. Great game to watch, even better when it's free entertainment. Tough loss for SK, they are in for an uphill battle now. As far as the 4th and 1 call goes, hindsight is 20/20, up to that point I don't believe Bishop had positive yardage on every run in the 2nd half prior to that, most of the time it was 3 to 4 yards per haul. I agree it did give Dixie some new life, up to that point they looked unispired but the play they scored on would have gone for 80 if they had punted. Gutsy move, I honestly thought matching fg's in the 2nd OT was the key to the Colonel win. Dixie scored with ease on their 1st attempt and then Spritzky called a timeout and kicked a fg on their 2nd try, IMO SK has to will theirselves to a TD in that situation.

I like the call, I think it shows you believe in your team. Your team must step up and make that play.

I think you mean bishop didn't have negative yardage.:thumb:

Anyway you slice it, It looks like one heck of a game to watch.

Huge win for the Colonels. Sounds like it was a game to remember.

For the record, before the play happened I told the SK fan next to me that they had better punt.

So you'd go for it from your own 20 on 4th and 5 any time during the game?

The game is over. New game to prepare for this week.
