Isn't Happy Days still shown in syndication? Wouldn't she still be getting checks from this? Maybe contracts were different back then.

From USA today.

There were also reports of Moran quickly spending her portion of a settlement she and three Happy Days co-stars received in 2012 in a breach-of-contract lawsuit against CBS. Huffington Post reports that the settlement originally asked for $10 million, but the final decision was reportedly $65,000 per person and future royalties.

Tv contracts weren't quite the same back in the day, especially for the "non major" players. Heck, a lot of tv stars, especially in the earlier days, got NOTHING after initial production, just salary per episode. I bet Moran probably fell somewhere in this category and sued to get some sort of residual from the reruns.
