:thumb: I hate it when the Apple Bowl is hosted at Pville. They just dont have the room to host all that want to attend it. I get off work at 3:30 so ill probably just drive on over and get me a seat although it will standing room only all game long, except on the P-ville side which will probably be seated and quite about all night.

Regardless of hard feelings or rivalries, running up the score is never a good thing and will come back to haunt you at some point, maybe not this year, maybe not next but one of those teams that you embarass will get their chance for payback somewhere down the road. That said JC wins this one big.

Doesn't matter, I'm not from Paintsville or JC. Running up the score is never the right thing to do and it will ALWAYS come back to you......Trust me on that one...there is never a good reason to do that. Of course by your avatar I can tell that beating someone as bad as you possibly can really means something to you. That's okay too, JC may be number one in the mountains, but I don't want to hear any accusations when you run into Highlands.....You beat teams as bad as you can, you take your beatings too......

Believe me...we have had our share of beatings over the years...lol...and if we have the opportunity to play Highlands this year we very well may take another. But I don't believe that you will hear anyone complain about someone running up the score.

 

With that said, the Apple Bowl is a whole different game. Xyience is right. If Paintsville had the opportunity to hang 100 on the Golden Eagles they would. (That might not be out of the question for Johnson Central to do this year...no joke) You said that you are not from Paintsville or JC so I can understand your perspective as someone on the otuside looking in. However, with that said, this game is just different.

 

I don't expect anyone not from Johnson County to understand...and that's okay.

This is twice that you've posted JC's overall opponents record. Why is a Rockcastle fan even doing research on JC's opponent's overall record? Why do you care? What's Rock's overall opponents record?

I cannot believe what I am hearing JC may very well blow Paintsville out in fact I expect them to but this is a rivalry game at Paintsville and I can be sure Paintsville will give them their best shot. I remember years when I went to Paintsville that Central was supposed to beat us by 40 or 50 points and we went and beat them. Don't be surprised if Paintsville gives Central a game. You can throw records out the window in this game.

Come on lets be serious here. Paintsville is a very very bad team this year. There is no way in this world that Paintsville will keep this things close i dont care where its played. The past is the past, and I agree there were alot of times when JC was supposed to cruise and didnt but we now have the deciding factor, and its called Jim Matney. Since he has arrived the score of the of the apple bowls combined are 96-12 in favor of JC. Look for this to be the worst beating ever in an apple bowl game. You obviously know nothing about the matchups in this game or you would know that P-villes lines are very weak and JC's are very strong and that is why this game will be a blowout. If Paintsville cant handle JC's d-line then how can Daniel Pugh showcase his talents, and the JC running attack will score at ease against the P-ville D. Its going to get ugly and fast.

I said that I expect Central to blow them out in my post I am just saying that you can throw records out the window when it's a rivalry. You may say that Paintsville doesn't have a chance but I am one of those people that is a firm believer in faith and anything is possible. I still say Central will win but I say by 35.

Rockcastle's opponnent's record is 10-16. If you take Lincoln County out of the picture (the only team to defeat Rock) their opponent's overall record is 6-15.

 

WOW...that is a much tougher schedule than JC has played this year!!!

I've NEVER seen Paintsville intentionally run up the score on Central, and I've seen a LOT of Apple Bowls. When did Paintsville ever do it ? :confused:

 

Central should win the game easily, but these intimations of "running it up" put a nasty tilt on the game for the Eagles. You guys are making Central look like an 800 lb. gorilla with an inferiority complex !!
