April 4, 20179 yr Good work from the bullpen today. Lorenzen looked good -- was hitting 98-99. I forget the first reliever's name (made the jump from Double-A) but he did his job: two ground balls with runners on. Unfortunately Cozart couldn't handle the first one, but that was impressive too.

April 4, 20179 yr The Reds hit well, just missed opporunities with the bases loaded that could've changed the game for us. Feldman looked bad after 2, but hopefully it was just Opening Day jitters since he looked good in the 3rd & 4th until he just ran out of juice in the 5th. 161 games left, I'm still confident this young team can make the season interesting.

Yep, I'm thinking 64 win season may be a stretch. To get no more than 1 run out of all that was very disappointing. No outs and they got 1 out of it. One out the next inning and got zilch. They only had the bases loaded twice — 3rd and 4th. I wanted to choke Billy Hamilton for his first-pitch swinging tendency. No wonder he's a terrible hitter.
