@HammerTime Reds win the series. Go ahead and start the next series thread. As long as the Reds keep winning series you should keep starting the threads.

:ylsuper:

Is he the bullpen?

Hard to say, the pieces rotate around faster then fresh tuna at a sushi bar.

True, I meant just the bullpen specifically.

Like I said earlier in the thread, Iglesias & Lorenzen could be a strong duo to close out games. They were strong late last season. Add in Storen, who has had some success closing games out, and I think the end of the bullpen is okay.

Over/Under numbers on Peraza and Hamilton:

100 Stolen Bases

.320 OBP

Individually or combined? :)

Walking the 1st 2 batters of any inning is not going to work out over a larger sample size. Glad Reed got away with it today but the habit has to be broken. His historical MiLB stats don't show these major control problems (BB/9 = 3.19 & WHIP = 1.42 [his 1st partial season (1.82 over 29.2 IP) and 1st full season (1.68 at Lexington over 84 IP) inflate that stat, he was below 1.2 at several stops in 2nd full season]) so maybe it is mental at the MLB level. Whatever it is, he won't stay around in the show if he can't consistently throw strikes.

Line drive shot up that middle that no 2nd baseman in the league would have been able to get to...

"Phillips would have got that" comes from the section I was in lol.

Sounds like a @plantmanky type comment...
