Congratulations to all 16 teams to make it to Rupp. That has to be a big feather in your cap to get that done on the season.

Congrats to Cooper! Fine, well coached team. Finally got to see Dante Hendrix play. Very impressed. Plays very hard.

Congrats to my Purples! It only took us 100 years to get our first basketball state championship. It is sweet to win. Thanks to the efforts of the players, especially Taylor, Jones, Jones, Harmon and Wilson. Thank you and Congrats on a memorable run for this Purples Fan.

Go BG!

Here is what I heard today but who knows what the truth is.

I heard he is going to a prep school because if he didn't he wouldn't be able to play all 4 years in HS either in KY or TN due to age.

He turned 15 last week which means he will be 18 on Aug 1 his senior year. He'll be eligible.

Congrats to Sean and Dante (and any other 4 year players I'm leaving out) for leaving a legacy at Cooper. Not many kids get to say that.

Age will not be a barrier for HS, he will not turn 19 until his senior season.

That's awesome then! That's why I stated I have no idea if what was said was true or not. Just passing on what I was told was all.

Harmon turned 14 last week, not 15. How about DG Sherrill? 6 region titles, a 4 peat, 3 final fours and now a state championship. Tim Riley who???

You REALLY want to go there?

Congrats to BG, 1st state title.

Early prediction; a yr. from now on championship Sunday will be more like a Sunday mass. Cov. Cath v Trinity. From what I know the top 2 teams by quite a margin in '17-18.

Good lord. We are not but a few hours since the final horn of this years state championship and we are already starting this nonsense again. Wow! You would think by now someone would learn something.

Starting after each game I think from elite 8 on they gave out the awards to the members of the losing team. I like it because they didn't have to come all the way back after the title game was played.

The players also get to share the award with their fans at the game. If on Sunday those fans would not be there.

Congrats to BG, 1st state title.

Wide Margin over Scott County who returns all but 1 player, I dont think so.

Harmon turned 15. He even said so on his Twitter.

Riley did literally everything you said plus two more Region titles overall and in a row. And he went through Sherrill directly for three of them, including two while Sherrill was at Bowling Green. Today is the day to celebrate Sherrill's success. Don't make us play this game of diminishing his accomplishments by comparing him to Tim Riley.

Well, he has 6 region titles and 3 final fours. Same number of state titles and similar dominance. BG has currently won close to 50 straight 4th region games. They've only lost 3 games in January, February, and March in the last 3 years - all to the state champion in the state tournament. Have a record of 127-18 over the last 4 years. Let's not act like it's not a discussion.
