March 11, 20179 yr Final. SEC Semifinal: Cats just gutted this one out. Now lets go out tomorrow and pick up SEC Tournament title number 30!
March 11, 20179 yr Fox stepping up down the stretch. Hawkins really giving the team a lot of intangibles.
March 11, 20179 yr I don't care what anyone says. Even though they are not as fun to watch as the beginning of the season when they were scoring 100 a game. Imo this team is better now than at the start. We know this team can play a fast pace if needed. However this team is better defensively and in the half court offense than they were to start the year.
March 11, 20179 yr Fox was outstanding down the stretch. Not the best performance, but survive and advance. Will have to play better tomorrow, regardless of who it is.
March 11, 20179 yr Fox was very good, didnt rebound well (got to get Humphries to be able to get Bam some rest), Monk was better, Willis hit a couple big 3's, to many unforced turnovers, probably secured the 2 seed, Thank you Dom for sticking at UK (great leadership) Cats win, Ill take it Go Cats

Their offense is starting to worry me a bit though.

March 11, 20179 yr It's because this team finally started playing defense. Their offense is starting to worry me a bit though. That is why I say the team is better now than at the start of the year. To start the year was fun, but we were winning mainly on talent alone and fast play scoring 100 a game. Our defense, rebounding, and half court offense was horrible to start the year, but no one noticed because it didn't matter since we were scoring 100 a game. Once we get to the big dance and away from conference teams. I think we will see this team play at a faster pace again and putting more points up. However also being capable of knowing how to play a half court game if needed.

I love our Guards.

March 11, 20179 yr Loved our guards last year but it didn't get us far. Bam is the difference imo. Bam is definitely the difference and this team will only go as far as he takes them. He doesn't need to lead the team in points or even close to that, but if we can depend on him inside it should open up Monk and Fox to continue what they did today and Fox the last couple games.
March 11, 20179 yr Bam needs more FGAs Exactly, when they get Bam the ball down low he should just turn and shoot / dunk and not pause like he often does. There are few that can begin to match up with Bam in the low post. .....go to the score and it's 2 pts., a foul or both
