IMO: she only took two steps when she had possession of the ball, if you're gonna make that call you can't be the official that's 35 feet away from the play.

I have enjoyed this Mason CO team for the last 3 years. I know it hurts to go out this way as Seniors . I have been there before with my team.

On your video it looks like a walk. I was going to comment before seeing yours that it was either a little stutter step or she took 3 steps which from your video it looks to be the correct call.

"Over the other situation" What does that mean? I'm not from Mason or GRC

and was just wondering.

The official at mid court sideline makes the travel call opposite side of the floor of him. Female official under the basket doesn't make the call, whether it's the right or wrong call, no way you toot the whistle and decide the game that way. Terrible way for any team to go down with a ref decision, especially the ref 30 feet away!

Its easy to see in this video. Great angle.

The traffic out of HC was difficult to navigate through, so while sitting in traffic, I had time to think...(dangerous, I know!)

 

Well, I knew I'd log on tonight and see the MC faithful salty over the outcome of the game. The young lady did travel. I heard fans around me say the ref should swallow his whistle and not call it in that situation ... well, if it's a walk in the first quarter, it's a walk in the 4th quarter!

 

Next thought lead me to this-- Did this Mason Co Lady Royal team underperform? One a title with a different coach a couple years ago and now no titles since. I guess their AAU coach quit working with them and developing them after the last coach "left."

 

And lastly, I thought "More Piper and Less Paula!" Did you all see that two step she did on their final possession in regulation. She thought she won the regional crown that slipped through her hands 3 consecutive years with the best talent in the region. Seems a lot like this season!
