February 28, 20179 yr How is UCLA a 3 seed? I've wondered what the issue with UCLA has been for a while now. They're by all accounts one of the best teams in the country and they've been in the 3-4 seed range since January. What am I missing?

February 28, 20179 yr IMO, UCLA is a 1 seed over Gonzaga.Gonzaga is 29-1 against the 80th toughest schedule, and is 5-0 against the Top 50. UCLA is likely to end up 28-3 against the 94th toughest schedule, and is 5-3 against the Top 50. That is a very tough sell.

UCLA has wins at #1 Kentucky, at #5 Arizona, vs. #20 Texas A&M on a neutral court, and vs. top 10 Oregon. To me UCLA passes the eye test.

I hate how that works too, the committee should look at the wins at the time they occur and how the team was performing at that time. Injuries and stuff happen, Texas A&M was a good team in late November/early December.
