February 25, 20179 yr 1 - Click on "Account" at the top right 2 - Scroll down slightly & on the left hand side click "Edit Avatar." 3 - Select whichever option you prefer, Option 1 being a picture from another site, in which case you'll need to copy the site's URL. Or Option 2 which is uploading your own picture. Pics/Avatars can only be 150x150 pixels, so if you're uploading your own picture you will need to resize it if it's larger than that. You can do this using whatever picture editing program you might have. 4 - Click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

You can also use the "Location" area to post a brief message that will appear under your avatar every time you post. Have fun with it, but remember all BGP rules apply to both your Avatar and your Location.

July 28, 20179 yr Also, if anyone is struggling for ideas when it comes to avatars, an easy go-to is the logo from your alma mater or from any other high school program you support. I've not completed all of the football helmet/logo threads, but thus far I've got all of the available logos from schools starting with letters A through P covered. Just an idea. July 30, 20179 yr Thinking about changing mine up soon, the search is on! I've had the same on since I joined BGP in 2002. Occasionally, I think about changing but then I never do. It's funny, there are people on BGP who I know personally, but when I hear their name I immediately think of their avatar instead of their face!
August 1, 20179 yr I finally decided to add an avatar, I tried once before but didn't know how to resize and was too lazy to google how.
