Only if he misses the jumper.

:lol2: True but imagine if the kid doesn't even attempt to shoot the jumper and just keeps humiliating the defender over and over. Still isn't a technical and in this case that is all I see. A kid trying to humiliate his defender.

Only a T if he was trash talking

With it.

Kid knew he was taking a chance getting t'd up, can tell by his reaction.

If you are going to showboat and point the finger at yourself that much, you are kind of taking your chances with some refs and this just might be the outcome. And, as said above, he might have said something too, we don't know. As LA said above, just play ball.

With that said, it was pretty funny.

Let him finish the play, then award bonus points for the added sick handles. Scoring should be adjusted this way all the time - the sicker the handle, the more artistic the dribble move, the more points that should be awarded for the made shot that ensues. And maybe just eliminate the pass altogether, team play and sharing the ball is so overrated.

What if they're up 40 and the refs had already warned him to stop twice?

If that were the case, I'm all for the T.

Lot of variables we don't know , woulda been ok to me if the ref blew the whistle and called him for carrying the ball. woulda stopped the attempt at poor sportsmanship . I loathe " look at me " attitudes . Coach should be embarrassed as well.

And BTW " Get off my lawn" lol

Last move had defender watching his feet and appeared he was able to blow by him into lane as whistle blew for the T. Yea showing off...but, I think the T was incorrect. Wouldn't one think the Coach must have seen this before and had discussions?

Not often we agree on an issue like this! No wonder it's been so warm lately :)

There are ways to slow this kind of behavior down

As young men age, they all naturally progress to become think-alike curmudgeons.

It's you, coming to my side. Let the kids have fun... Maybe an old dog can learn new tricks!

No reason to be showboating in a blowout.
