Highlands 49 Southwestern 14

Featured Replies

Southwestern kids played hard. QB throws a nice ball, but was off in accuracy. Nice running back. 45 and 5 on defense also very good.

Highlands totally dominated the game, yet when they review the tape today, my guess is the coaches will have a few things to "discuss" with them.

While the score doesn't indicate it, Coach Anderson actually put together a pretty good defensive plan for Highlands O. Defensive ends were ready for the traps and consistently got down low and linebackers blitzed effectively. Highlands receivers did get open deep several times however.

Kramer had another fantastic game. Conner looked good in his first game back. Line blocked well. Cecil ran and passed well. Defense was extremely effective against the run. Did a good job against the pass. Kudo's to Ryan Ball of making some tough catches of punts.

Good luck Warriors next week. Rest up and regain some swagger. Hope LTW and Commando had a safe trip home. As always, I enjoyed talking to you guys. Salt of the earth, good people you are. LTW, don't forget to let me know when Murray will be on tv. Looking forward to watching your son play again.

Congrats to my Highland friends (who would have ever thought I'd say that:lol: ) Hopefully we will get to meet LTW and commando at our game in a few weeks.:thumb:

I dont think the Bluebirds will lose another game in the regular season. I think they will beat Cov. Cath as well but who am I to say its just my opinion.

Next weeks game in Columbus will be a challenge for the Birds. But I like their chances. Go Birds:ylsuper:

I think Beechwood lost to Kettering Alter last week like 18 or 19 to nothing...Kettering Alter is #1 in DIII in Ohio. Columbus DeSales is # 2 in DIII and Highlands destroyed Beechwood in their scrimmage this year. So I'm thinking HHS has a pretty good chance against DeSales......:thumb:

Nice win for Highlands. Kramer and Cecil continue to run all over defenses. Class act by the Birds as well to pull their starters after halftime, being up 49-0.

SW played with some heart at times. The QB is big and can see the field real well. Like LN stated, timing was a bit of an issue. Watching both teams play from last year to this year, Highlands has improved 100%. Still alot of work to do boys. SW had some big kids but couldn't match up with Highlands speed!!!

Congrats to my Highland friends (who would have ever thought I'd say that:lol: ) Hopefully we will get to meet LTW and commando at our game in a few weeks.:thumb:
Two great people meeting yet another great person. :ylsuper:

If BF and I made it down that way your night would be perfect.

It was great seeing LTW and Commando last night, it was a real blast talking with the two of you, I had a great time. Thanks for the cheeseburger Commando. I've gotta tell you, your wife and daughter are beautiful! You're a lucky man!

LTW, I hope your son did well again today, tell him good luck from me for the rest of the season. It was fun talking football with you at the Midway after the game.

I hope to see you all again, soon. That definitely includes you RebelK!

RTS - Tried out your theory. No, seagulls are not intimidated by mousetraps.

Seagulls are too big for mousetraps, try rattraps. Same theory for squirrels. ;)

I liked the bomb attempt to # 87 (HHS) . I hope they back to that later this year. It will work.

Just got back from the game, "BIG BIG" win for us but that's a different thread. Meet some really great people and just made you feel at home. I'll keep you guys up dated on mine. Keep him in your thoughts at night it's rough out there. HHS/Southwestern game what can you say HHS just brought it! To much speed once the RB was pass the LB's. SW will bounce back and get on tract for district. Have a great week off and then get ready for Boyle Co.
