This team just isn't there. Unfortunately this is a team that you would be real excited about and think "wow this is a team that will be unstoppable in 2 years". But they won't be here in 6 months. Sad and frustrating.

Good thing the tournament is still 2 weeks away then. This year's championship is wide open. Kentucky still has as good of a chance as a lot of teams. Still plenty of time to fix it and be at their best come March.

That was pretty bad.

Funny thing in the College basketball Contest I looked back at it this morning and I meant to pick Kentucky and typed Kansas by accident now I was one of only 2 or 3 to pick Kansas. I'd rather had the win however.

If the 2011 and 2014 team can turn it around and figure it out come Match. Then I think this team can too. Those teams had many more flaws than this one at this time of the season and still figured it out.

 

With that said they are going to have to really work at it to make that happen.

Still hope Monk can score 47 in the sweet 16 and beyond to bring home #9 since we have no other game plan.

Agreed, but if they were going to regress wouldn't you rather them be doing that in January rather than March. They have a month and a half to fix it.

Cats simply struggle in half court basketball. The more controlled the game is the more turnovers we have, the fewer good looks we get, the tighter we get, etc.,etc.

Losing is never fun, losing at Rupp just makes it worse (for me atleast), hopefully the guys get it together by March, I know they can, hopefully they will.
