Here is what I am going to tell you

Spalding- Trinity

Levitch- North Oldham

Snider-Ballard

Not all americans by any means but get it done for Louisville, by the way they beat us. I get tired of people bashing our Ky kids, you do not have to be an all american to be a good college player. The only title Cal has he should hug Darius Miller every time he sees him. Padgett and Cameron Mills won a title with Ky, and lets not forget the last one L-ville won a kid from CAL hit (2) monster 3's. Of course you need great players, and one and done kids, but our kids are not to shabby.

And this Kentucky team has Willis and Hawkins on it...

And Brad Calipari and Dillon Pulliam

Your point is valid, here is the problem, CAL runs dribble drive, that is not a play to the post, they want to shoot it quick, hard to run a quick hitter to the post. I have watched them run same 2 plays that he ran to Towns, just don't do it enough. He also ran plays to Monk coming off all those screens.

What does any of that have to do with KY kids and your previous post?

Hawkins in my opinion has not ever played enough. You tell me how he plays 20 minutes plus in the national championship game against U-Conn to not playing any at all the next year. My bad we went with 2 twins that were chokers. I am telling you that in the history of Ky Basketball a Ky kid has made big plays when they need them. Check all the national titles they have. We all know why Pulliam and Calipari are on the team lets not get that twisted, the 3 I mentioned at U of L are playing well. And our All American 1 and done kids could not guard Snider, period.

Because he was the 4th or 5th most talented guard on the team....He barely played in 2014 because they had Tyler Ulis, Devin Booker, and the Harrison twins who on their worst days were far superior to anything Hawkins will ever be.

I'd take Hawkins over the twins any day of the week. Just me. Ulis and Booker I don't argue at all with, but those two are sitting in the final 5 minutes against Wisconsin. And we beat that same Wisconsin team the year before with Hawkins playing alot. I did not like the twins if you can not tell. :)

You need to recheck your numbers on Hawkins....He played 11 minutes against Wisconsin in 2013-14. He played a whole 7 against UConn in the title game, not "20+".

Lots of people disliked the twins, and that's fine. Fact is, there's no chance Kentucky would've been in the position they were in in either year had it not been for them.

It seemed as if he played more, someone had to try to guard the U-Conn guards. You use UK in front of your screen name, you know Ky kids are important to what UK has always done in the past. Hawkins is a winner period, was in high school as well. Beat that Quinten Snider Ballard team in the final game at the state tourney. If we are going to have success this year at some point Willis or Hawkins will have to step up for them in a crucial spot.

Ky kids are not important to winning at UK IMO. You take the talented kids regardless of where they're from.

We've been saying that about Willis all year. Hopefully he does in a big game in the tournament when its needed most.

I am a big fan of Hawkins but if this team is to be successful, he won't be on the floor over Fox, Monk, and Briscoe. He's intended to spell them, not much more. He's a great asset for this team, just not sure you can justify him consistently playing over those three.

I didn't say he did over those 3, however when they are playing like they did at Tennessee, the bench teaches valuable lessons.
