dishNetwork rocks btw

I agree I just don't have line of sight.

And these blackouts drive me nuts and are enough to make me switch providers too. I don't want to hear about their petty $$$ problems, I want my TV!

When they charge as much as they do after the first 1-2 years, I definitely don't give a damn about DirecTV's side of things. And I say that loving the product and customer service more than their competitors, but give me a break if you can't provide the local affiliates.

I have a feeling that they will get it resolved before the weekend, lest they're prepared for a revolt that would cost them far more than the dispute with Hearst.

My Directv NBC channel is just fine.

Louisville ATT/Directangular TV have NBC. We are without CBS

Must be a regional thing.

I remember years ago, you had to have an antenna to get the locals if you had DIRECTV.

How many people under 40 steal have any of those laying around?

Really getting close to just being a millennial and figuring out how those sticks or whatever they are work and getting rid of DirecTV.

Reds' games are the only thing stopping me from cutting the cord.

No problems with Direct TV in the Indy area. We have always maintained local antenna too. Some good local stuff (high school & small college football & basketball + Me tv) to watch on antenna.

Just went to Wallyworld, got an antenna. Get Digital CBS crystal clear. Screw DTV and Hearst

Just dropped Directv going to TWC/Spectrum. Cut my bill in half. Only lost Sunday ticket, can stream it if I want. DTV just would not work with us.

Did the same thing with Cincinnati Bell Fioptics, coming to install on Monday. I tried calling Direct TV yesterday and all they wanted to do was give me a $5 credit. I said no thanks and don't even try to talk me out of canceling on Monday. I gave them three chances to lower my bill, with not much help from them.

But that's only for a year. I guarantee you your bill will nearly double when the year is up. I've been through that game with old Insight, Time Warner and CinBell Fioptic and I'm getting REAL tired of that game.

Yes and I told TWC that I would change after a year if it went up too much..Doubt if they care or that it matters.

They won't care. You used to be able to get a promotional deal from Insight after your initial plan expired but TWC could care less if you walk.
