January 2, 20179 yr Anyone else have a blackout of their local CBS affiliate on DTV? All I know is they best have it worked out by Friday or this guy is going back to cable. I was out with the fam watching the game yesterday at a restaurant that obviously had Sunday ticket. Got home ready to watch the Raiders and it was a channel I no longer receive because of an issue with the carrier, yada yada. anyone else with these issues?
January 2, 20179 yr Same here, except it was no local (Cincy) NBC affiliate. Yep. I didn't realize NBC was blacked out until I tried to watch the Packers/Lions game last night. This has happened a few times in the past, but not recently. Usually they get things worked out before it gets to a blackout.

Blackouts can happen with cable providers as well. It's not limited to Directv/Dish. From what I've read, Charter (who now owns Time Warner/Spectrum) has the NBC stations blacked out as well. Charter-NBC dispute could black out channels in Cincy I love the way they blame each other in the statements explaining the blackout.

All the others are fine. Hearst communications is the issue here.
January 2, 20179 yr All ATT/DIRECTV users are without NBC. The good thing though is that it is a local channel and can be picked up with an antenna.

I am pretty mad at both WLKY and DirecTV. Don't mess with my football!

How many people under 40 steal have any of those laying around? Really getting close to just being a millennial and figuring out how those sticks or whatever they are work and getting rid of DirecTV.

We don't have DTV in kitchen but use small tv and antenna there. Works great.
