Hellbird Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 This team is god awful. Dalton sucks. Marvin is a joke and the worst game manager ever to breath oxygen. The end of the first half was embarrassing. 5 mins left and he runs the clock down with no effort to score a TD. Dalton sucks. Did I say that already? Goes to show without one of the best wr's in the game Dalton is bad.
Science Friction Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 How come I didn't even know they were playing tonight? Maybe because this franchise sucks??? Until Lewis is gone, I will not take interest again. Maybe not even then. Makes me sad in a way since I was a huge fan for forty years.
Science Friction Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Sounds like they led in this game for quite awhile. Not surprised that Marvin helped turned a victory into a loss. He's great at that. I despise him. How did tonight turn into a loss?

I was at mass thank god so I didn't have to watch anymore.
Jack of all Trades Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Is that what you call having a case of the YIP's? There is a reason that guy has been cut by so many teams and it was all on display tonight. Marvin just walks off like no big deal. Hey Marvin, get PO'd dude and act like you have a pair. Time for him to get a pink slip.

I'm not the biggest fan of religion, but I would rather attend a dozen church services back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back than to sit through a Marvin Lewis-coached Bengals' game.
footmaster Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Is there a kicker in college worth our number one pick? Lol! Just joking, but seriously... at some point in the draft they gotta consider taking a kicker... That's what? 4 games they've lost this season on missed kicks?! Wow!
Voice of Reason Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Marvin's game management is terrible. He plays to close games like this. End of the first half. Bengals get a first down at about the 20 with 30 seconds to go. The tackle on the first down play happened in bounds so the clock is running. Call time out, right? The Bengals had a time out left. No, Marvin has them running another play. They get to the line of scrimmage, run a play, Dalton is under pressure and forced to throw the ball out of bounds with 5 seconds left. If they use the time out, they get to run three plays to try and score a TD. Instead, they kick a field goal on 2nd and 10 with 5 seconds left and go to the locker room with a time out in their pocket. That is on Marvin Lewis. He takes 7 points a game off the board by the way he manages time and plays conservative. Give the Bengals 7 more points a game and they are 10-2 right now. Give them 5 points more a game and they are 9-2-1. Give them just 3 more points a game and they are 9-5.

He is what he is--- a terrible manager of the clock and takes pts off the board by being WAY too conservative. The Bengals deserve what they get by sticking with him.
hrcarrier Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Well at least there's only one more game left for the season. Back after the Jets game I said this would be a six or seven win season and I was right. Nothing more to say, the main issues are clear, which have been for long enough. Merry Christmas everyone.
ZJH Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 Marvin has to go....But no reason to be upset about a loss that helped us more than it hurt us, Bengals are out of the playoff race, drop the last 2 games and get higher draft picks.
UK#1fanisback Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 The thing I can't stand is the Bengals won't even give the Ravens a game next week.
mcpapa Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 This game was nothing short of painful to watch.

"We made some mistakes out there and it was disappointing. We gotta learn from it and just keep getting better" I am sure that was the level of wmotion in the post game press conference.
