December 25, 20169 yr I was surprised that the defense played as well as it did without Burfict (except for that one series after the Bengals TD). To be fair Houston has one of the worst offenses in the nfl.
December 26, 20169 yr Nugent got the last laugh. Not really. His NFL career is probably over because of his shanks this year.
December 26, 20169 yr Therapist??? What in the hell do you mean? Between the President-Elect Trump and the Bengals I need to be living with a therapist. It's a wonder I'm not a damn nutcase. SF was a conservative born again Christian until the Bengals and DJT ruined him:lol2: Now he is a liberal atheist...lol... Edited December 27, 20169 yr by Jumper_Dad R14
December 26, 20169 yr Keep talking about Dalton last year. Fact is he had a cake schedule last year that everyone seems to ignore. He is not a great qb. He still can't carry a team like a franchise qb should be able to do. He still loses consistently against good teams. He is not good. 6 years is plenty of time to start beating decent teams. He is only as good as AJ Green makes him look. He's proved he is not good without one of the best WRs in the game. HB, I understand your frustration with the Bengals but I try to take the emotion out of it when it comes to them and Dalton. Dalton led the Bengals to the playoffs his first five years. You can count on one hand the QB's in the league who have done that. He is not terrible. He is having a sub par year this year as is most of the team. The QB gets too much credit usually when the team wins and vice versa. I don't know why you ignore last year. He was an MVP candidate last year when he went down with the season ending injury. You say he played against a "cake schedule". There is no such thing as a "cake schedule" in the NFL. Most of the games and teams in the NFL are incredibly evenly matched. He can only play the teams on his schedule. This is not college where he can play Podunk U. Every team in the NFL has a lot of good players. I think Dalton is in the middle third of QB's in the NFL. He is somewhere between 12-18 in QB rankings IMO. If they put AJ McCarron in for him on an extended basis and NFL teams got to see tape on AJ, I think we would find that Dalton is better than AJ. I know you disagree and that is fine. JMHO... I will say there are a lot of teams in the NFL that would LOVE to have Dalton right now.
December 26, 20169 yr I was fortunate enough to choose watching Christmas movies over this game and have no regrets... :lol2: And i don't forsee myself watching the last game either. The poor game management and lack of discipline is tiresome. Amazing all the other things folks can do within a 3 hour window.
December 26, 20169 yr I wish they would can Marvin , bring in a good coach and maybe I can get back on board . I've had enough of Dalton also , just doesnt have the un-measurables to led the team . How good could he played if they managed 10 big points ?
December 26, 20169 yr The thing I can't stand is the Bengals won't even give the Ravens a game next week. Why do you care about that game?
December 26, 20169 yr Why do you care about that game? I guess at the time he didn't expect his Steelers to beat the Ravens. Which meant their only hope would have been if the Bengals beat the Ravens. So apparently he didn't have much Faith in his team to get it done last night.
December 26, 20169 yr Therapist??? What in the hell do you mean? Between the President-Elect Trump and the Bengals I need to be living with a therapist. It's a wonder I'm not a damn nutcase. :lol2: It will all be OK SF. The sky didn't fall these past 8 years, I doubt it will the next 4. Everything will be fine. Bengals haven't won a playoff game since '91, that's what is nuts. Edited December 27, 20169 yr by Jumper_Dad R14
