For the record I was not a Bird fan, 76ers all the way for me back in the day, but I do recognize greatness when I see it.

December 12, 20169 yr So many great Bird memories. My favorite pro athletes of all time are Larry and Tiger. I grew up as a HUGE Celtics fan (my mom's side of the family is from Massachusetts) so when Bird went to the Celtics, my favorite player was on my favorite team...I was in Heaven! The game when he scored 60 against the Hawks was one of my favorite memories. The reactions of the Hawks bench players as Larry was making one impossible shot after another was priceless. The duel with Dominique is another. The playoff series against the Sixers and finals against the Lakers are just great memories too.
