Man dies after drunk friends put him outside naked for snoring - NY Daily News

Two Frenchmen are facing charges of manslaughter after a joke gone wrong during a drunken night of fun left their friend naked and dead outside in the cold.

The group of pals spent the night drinking in an apartment until one of them had just a little too much alcohol.

“The victim, who had drunk more than the others, suddenly fell into a deep and unconscious sleep,” a source told the AFP news agency.

Put off by their 35-year-old friend’s snoring, the group stripped him naked and put him outside while he continued to sleep. The victim’s drinking buddies also drew on his face “for laughs,” according to the news outlet.

The temperature in the Northern Parisian suburb that night was reportedly just above freezing, and the man’s lifeless body was found the next day.

The friends, who have since claimed their actions were an attempt to prevent the victim from driving home drunk, were charged with manslaughter and failing to rescue someone in need.

It's a funny prank, but at some point you have to bring him inside once he doesn't wake up.

We only shaved eyebrows and one leg when one of our friends had too much.

It's only because you didn't think of the other.

Two words: The French

I could easily see that happening in the US. People are stupid everywhere.

It was pretty funny when we hit the beach or pool on Spring Break and you got some dude with no eyebrows and one completely hairless leg. LOL

Very sad.

I don't get pranks. I am not a prank person. I don't understand the need for people to purposely do things to others in an attempt to humiliate and get a laugh from others.

I was ummm "Asleep" in the back seat of a buddies car. When we got to his house very late one night, they just left me in the car. I woke up freezing and hit had snowed about 3" that night. I guess that could have went south, but luckily I may have had more "antifreeze" in me at the time.

I sometimes can't believe I survived my youth. Did some dangerously stupid things also.

So you never had fun?(Not in ANY way condoning what the French guys did). In the group I ran with in my younger days it was do unto to others before he did it unto you. Boy we had some fun! All innocent, nobody suffered, got hurt feelings or went to jail.

Yep, it's a miracle...that same night a guy pulled a gun on me, I thought he was going to kick my drunk butt, but nooooo he planned on shooting me :lol2:

About five years later after I met and married my wife, I'm at her uncles and I'm talking to a cousin. We started talking about old times and figured out that he was the one that wanted to shoot me that night. He looked at me after we figured out and said, "Oops, my bad."

We went and played golf later that day!

As I tell my Sunday School Class, " That was back when I was working on my Testimony"

Fallen asleep in a chair while camping once. Woke up with snow on my arms and legs. Guess I am lucky to an extent as well.

I say this all the time. I rode from NKY to Bowling Green in the bed of a pick-up truck once. Can you freaking imagine that today? You'd NEVER let someone do that.
