I'm dying laughing. Please, tell this guy what multi-million dollar a year job to take, I'm sure he hasn't fully thought this through.

Oh I'm sure he has, but don't you think he could do better than this? I do.

I don't know what is important to him. I don't know how secure he is in his ability to get a higher profile job. I don't know how badly he wants out of WKU. I don't know how much he liked Bobinksi when they met. I think Purdue is a much better job than many in this thread are giving it credit for, as I said above, and I think there are a lot of coaches that would carry a higher profile into interviews than Jeff would.

What I know for sure is this: he would have thought this through, would have talked to his family about it, and if this is what he wants, good for him.

I'm happy for him and hope it works out well for him, this just feels like him settling for the first decent offer he got...but as you said we don't know what drive his decision making.

This is a time I think Brohm would benefited from having an Agent. An Agent would have been contacting multiple schools looking for the best deal. He is an excellent coach and recuiter plus a good human being. Being a WKU alum always wondered why some of the big alum donors with the deep pockets haven't stepped up to keep a coach like Jeff. He is gone.

Brohm is meeting with Baylor on Sunday.

Willie Taggart and Bryan Harsin have been interviewed by Oregon.

Dakich said Purdue had a contract lined up but Baylor then offered a deal.

Report says Baylor is offering $4M.

Reports: Indiana to fire coach Kevin Wilson over treatment of players - CBSSports.com

By the way, the cat was 26-47 at IU. 26. and 47.

We now have seen "very good" used today to describe a team that won't be in the Top 150 of college hoops in March, and a coach that went 26-47. We need to tighten up our praise around this joint.

@John Anthony :bunny:

This is IU FB we're talking about. In that light, 26-47 is "very good."

Pete Thamel and Pat Forde reporting Jeff Brohm is the new coach at Purdue. Has met with his WKU team this morning.

Brian Brohm will join his brother as QB Coach and Co-Offensive Coordinator.
