December 11, 20169 yr Seems like the perfect fit. USF could be scary good with Strong. Agreed, they'll be very good. Need to get into a P5 conference before they become relevant on the national scene though IMO.

December 12, 20169 yr Rumors are the two lead candidates for FAU are Lane Kiffin and Michigan’s offensive coordinator Tim Drevno. There are a couple non P5 schools where if a coach goes to he will not be irrelevant: UC, Houston, Boise State, BYU, etc. FAU is NOT one of those schools. Lane would be better off staying at Bama or jumping ship to LSU. Just my opinion. Also I may be wrong on this, but I think Lane could make more money as LSU O- Coordinator than he could being FAU HC.

He wants to be a HC, is probably tired of Saban treating him like a child It's in Florida, he's a big name hire (while not proven yet as a HC, people know Lane Kiffin). I can see him having some success there. But yeah the better move would probably be LSU,he'd be the highest paid coordinator in the country (he may be already).
