Ockerman 7th beat Campbell County by about 10 tonight at Turkeyfoot. The HAWKS looked very very tired. I have seen them 3 times this year their guard play is just so smooth.

Conner 8th beat Turkeyfoot 35-30. Game was not as close as the score shows. Starters did not play the whole 4th, bench hung on to a 16 point lead the staters had built.

 

Should be be a good game tomorrow vs Beechwood.

Congratulations to Beechwood 8th for winning the Turkeyfooot Holiday Tournament. Conner had their chances to win this one but wasn't able to pull it off.

Highlands 7th beat Ockerman in OT of the finals of the TF Tournament to end their unbeaten streak..

Ockerman looked tired yesterday.....not 100% surprised by this

Highlands 7th played 4 tough games in 5 days.

Ockerman is a good team.

Beechwood/Conner 8th grade game was well played as well

Beechwood - Cameron Boyd, Andrew Goodwin and Mitchell Berger all were stand outs for Beechwood, Cameron taking Beechwoods all tournament team selection!

Conner had several stand outs for their tournament run - noteables- Ayden Lohr, Dan Campbell (Conners all tournament selection and Landen Hamilton (tournament MVP)-

Both teams have tremendous talent and will be very tough outs moving forward!

Probably one of the Worst Refereed Tournaments I have EVER seen. Same couple of clowns every game for the most part that I saw. They seemed very tired, not running down court, making calls 40-50 feet behind players backs etc...At one point to start a game, the first 1:10 of game, I kidd you not 6 Fouls Called...Wow.

Really Ashamed that Dayton and coach Volpenhein didn't have this under control.

 

Stinks for the Kids that they have to learn to play Thru this garbage. I feel for the Coaches that have the games get out of hand and have a ton of kids foul out on Ghost Calls and not let the kids just play. And to the Parents, you might of had a good reason this to yell stupid outbursts at the Refs this time... get a Life and some Respect towards the Kids and people working the table, clock etc...Why yell at a 11-13 year old kid who's trying and a table worker who is Volunteering time to help your child play a game...Until you Run the clock and Volunteer, shut the Bleep up...

Man, I forgot Cameron Boyd was on that team too. That Beechwood 6th grade team is loaded. 5 very good basketball players, which is rare in 6th grade.

Without question Beechwood is one of the top 3 or 4 teams in Northern Kentucky- Very skilled and well coached!
