Do they use a ref service for their tournament or parents or other volunteers? We've played in a few that just get anyone to ref and they are usually horrible. At the Crusader Classic we use a ref service and most of the guys we get do most of the high school games in the area.

Campbell County middle school 6th grader Aydan Hamilton was named one of the guards in the state in the 6th grade.

Camp Ernst travels to the metropolis of Hebron tonight. This will be the 3rd time in about as many weeks that the 8th grade teams will have played each other.

 

1st game @ CE was a close one with a couple of the Conner players sidelined with injuries.

2nd game was a blowout @ Turkeyfoot, foul trouble limited the Blazers

3rd game should be interesting. These two teams in my opinion don't like each other...reminds me of back in the day Conner vs Ockerman, we didn't like each other.

In Hebron -

 

6th grade game was a game of runs with Conner coming out on top.. Landen Hamilton sparked Conner while Caleb Brooks was the standout for CE.

 

7th grade- Peyton Feldhaus made his 7th grade debut and although not a 100% he was still the difference as 7th grade CE avenged their loss earlier this season to the colts.

8th grade- Did not hear how this game finished.

Conner 8th lost...I wasn't there but heard they (Conner) looked like they had been off for a while.

 

CE is a good team and they never quit. They play physical and fast.

Ockerman traveled to Grant County Monday and the 7th and 8th grade Ockeman teams won. Cole Shumate led the OMS 7th grade with 23 points, including 5 3-pointers. He out scored Grant County in the game. In the 8th grade game Graves Fryman with 14 and Parker Fields with 13 led OMS.

Tonight Ockerman played host to Camp Ernst. 6th grade Camp Ernst won, 7th grade OMS won in a tight game, and 8th grade Camp Ernst held on to win by 5. Cole Shumate, Donovan Robinson and Teon Neale led OMS tonight, was a great game all around. 8th grade game Parker Fields led OMS with 17 points in a losing effort. Coach Kanarek does a great job with Camp Ernst, he has them playing well!

RA Jones and Twenhofel played tonight, 8th grade. RA Jones won by 9, played a great defense on Twenhofel and came away with a big win! Coach Todd Humphrey, as I've told others before, does a great job coaching. He has totally turned around RA Jones over the last couple of years after a successful run at Ockerman. The kids at RA buy into his coaching and concepts and it works. He has done wonders with their program!

IHM traveled to Ockerman on Thursday. 6th and 7th grade Ockerman teams won, 8th grade IHM won in a good game. 7th grade OMS was led by Cole Shumate, Donovan Robinson and Teon Neale in scoring. Corbin Fletcher, Tyler Krohman, and Steven Schuliger all played well also for OMS in the win. 7th grade OMS back on a roll after suffering their only loss over Christmas break. 8th grade game was a duel between Wyatt Vieth of IHM and Parker Fields of OMS. They each finished with 27 points, a lot of fun watching these two battle (especially since they're good friends).

Beechwood 8th remains undefeated with an easy win against Summit View... Will Downton with a big game. The Tigers are now 27-0..

What 7th grade age kid wouldn't be a stud playing 6th grade. CC politics is a joke.
