Tez is a great talent, and yes he is only 13. He plays AAU with my son for @Basketball12345. He is fun to watch when he gets on a roll! A lot of people on BGP may not see him because they don't play locally in the leagues around here. They play mostly in Louisville, Ohio, Indiana, and other areas.

 

The kid is fun to watch on the football field he played qb for the Bengal Tigers I definitely we be following gus highschool career.

I promise he is 13 and birthdate is in late may.

 

Which means that he is exactly in the grade he is supposed to be in.

BTW, I do not know the kid and I am not expressing an opinion about him in any way. Look forward to seeing him play one day!

He didn't score 60 against Conner...I was at the game. He had a very nice 3rd quarter where he hit some deep 3's, but after that he didn't do much more. He is a very athletic player who is physically larger than most kids his age.

 

He plays aau. And he plays up in aau .He has had games where he scored 60? I believe against Conner last year. Holmes coaching wanted him to play up. His mother chose for him not to play up. Which for her reasons was correct.

I know he tried out for the Cincinnati Royals team that has 2 Beechwood kids on it and didn't make the team. Not sure he has ever been taught to play a team game.. Tez is a good player but if I was starting a team from all of the 8th graders in NKy he wouldn't be in my top 5..

Conner 8th wins by 25 tonight. Holmes scores 27 if I remember correctly. Taz had a rough night with Conners size.

Was going to be my comment but you beat me to it. I think in this age of "hold backs" some have lost sight of just what age kids should usually be in their respective grade.
