Beechwood 8th won the NKMSAA Championship today. They finished their season undefeated @ 33-0.. The Tigers beat all of the better large school teams and won 5 Championships this season. Nice job boys!!

What news was that on? I couldn't find it and I'm intrigued. What grade is he? Has he played on multiple teams at the same time to get to 1000 points? That is a boatload of points for a middle schooler ....

4pm wcpo news it was a short segment. He's 13 year old 8th grader. He should be in 7 grade. Only played at Holmes during middle school. The true point total is almost 1300. Tez is range when he crosses half court. His twin brother may be the better player in the future.

Why should he be in 7th grade? It all depends on their birth date, but a lot of kids are 13 in the 8th grade and are 17 when they graduate high school.

If Tez is only 13 then he reached puberty when he was 10. The kid has had defined muscles for 3yrs.. He is a very good player. Hopefully he keeps growing..

I am really interested in hearing more about him. Has he ever played up? Does he play AAU? And if that 1300 points number is correct, in middle school basketball, does that mean he's averaged over 20 a game for three years? I would have expected those kinds of numbers to be a kid that would play up. Anyone have any insight?

He plays aau. And he plays up in aau .He has had games where he scored 60? I believe against Conner last year. Holmes coaching wanted him to play up. His mother chose for him not to play up. Which for her reasons was correct.

Tez is a great talent, and yes he is only 13. He plays AAU with my son for @Basketball12345. He is fun to watch when he gets on a roll! A lot of people on BGP may not see him because they don't play locally in the leagues around here. They play mostly in Louisville, Ohio, Indiana, and other areas.

I think last year he was averaging 50 points a game.
