To be honest I forgot about Calvary, it would make sense to keep them in the ninth also, maybe keeping Simon Kenton in the eighth if we move Calvary, not sure how many of the teams Calvary plays in the tenth. I also agree Fleming just seems out of place not being in the tenth.

 

Calvary boys will play 9 or 10 games against 10th region opponents out of 25 regular season games.

So you would keep Campbell and Brossart in the 10th. What would you do about Calvary? Which is less that 5 min away from Scott?

Lines have to get drawn somewhere. While the tenth region isn't what it used to be in terms of the county schools all playing one another it has became a better region in terms of quality basketball with the addition of Brossart, Campbell County, and Scott. Sorry but no one in their right mind would dispute that.

I'm not disagreeing wth you. I have always thought KY should make a Christian/Catholic private school Region. Calvary would probably dominate that region. But like NKY could have Calvary, Heritage, Cov Lat in that region. I can't speak on other schools like that around the state.

BigVMan23 is right - there simply is no perfect solution. Decisions will always need to be made that some like and some don't. I don't think it can be avoided.

That's all fine and dandy, but you've completely eliminated the current 32nd district. What are you going to do with them? Walton back to the 9th? Simon Kenton to the 9th or 10th? And where in the heck do you put Williamstown and Grant County?

I never understood schools being in the same county, but different regions.

Even worse, North Laurel and South Laurel are in the same city of London but are placed in different districts. That makes absolutely no sense at all unless politics somehow got mixed in with the decision.
