How many Louisville games have BGP UK fans attended?

Featured Replies

It just dawned on me. I've been to more UofL games than UK games. USF and Louisville had been in the same conference for more than 20 years before the Cards entered the ACC. I've been to at least 12-15 games involving them at the Sun Dome.

I went to my first UofL game before I went to my first UK game, too. When I was going to Morehead, I went with a friend, a huge Cardnal fan, to the game at Marshall in 1978.

Hundreds. :lol2: Seriously between pep band when I was in school and 10-15 home games a year since, I'm well into the 100's.

Been to UofL vs USF at the Sundome once too!

I should have titled this thread "How many Louisville games have UK fans attended".

I will do so, now.

1....Saw them get worked by Randy Foye, Allen Ray, Mike Nardi, Kyle Lowry, and Curtis Sumpter.

I remember. We were supposed to meet up at that game. It was before the renovation.

As a spectator: Just the 1984 Regional Semi-Final when UK and UL played.

For 18 Sports: UL vs. Indiana in Bloomington in December 1986. UL vs. UCLA in January 1987.

One.

January of 1980. Riverfront Coliseum vs UC(Jelly Jones team). Walked the bridge from Covington because we were too cheap to pay to park. Sat in the very top row.

Doctors of Dunk had ZERO dunks.

When I saw them at Marshall in 78, Darrell Griffith missed a dunk that caromed clean to mid-court. It was the one of the only 2 things I remember about that game. The other was having to walk across the court while the players were warming up to get to our seats.

A lot. Had season tickets while a student there. At least 30 or so....

EDIT: Not a UK Fan so I shouldn't have answered I suppose. Sorry.

A few. First time was against Murray State in Freedom Hall in the mid-90s against Murray State. UK/UL in Freedom Hall in 2001, or around that time. UK won by a couple of points. Also saw them play some directional school on a Saturday of a Football State Finals day. Saw them play UL Laffayette and Georgia Tech in the NCAA tournament in Nashville. And of course my favorite, the Final Four game in New Orleans against UK.

One,

Saw them play at NKU for exhibition game.
