November 21, 20169 yr I saw them once, when they played at Rupp. They upset the Cats that day! They upset me as well, darn it. :taz::lol2:
November 21, 20169 yr One. NIT quarters against Temple in Freedom Hall. Son's girlfriend's brother played for Temple. Got to meet Coach Chaney after the game and talk for 10 or 15 minutes.
November 21, 20169 yr One, Saw them play at NKU for exhibition game. Only one I saw as well. Was a fun game.
November 21, 20169 yr Zero basketball games. I've seen about 5 or 6 football games during the Michael Bush years. One of my good friends was a high school baseball assistant coach and the head coaches son played baseball at UL. Went with them a few times to tailgate and got free tickets to the game.
November 21, 20169 yr My mom's side of the family were UC fans, we would go to the Coliseum every year against UL. A wild memory was in the Ed Badger days, somebody from the upper deck tied a couple of balloons to 4 Sport Service beers in a cardboard container. The beers came down at a perfect pace and went right to Coach Crum's chair. Coach Crum stood up right as the beer hit the back of his chair. He was involved in the game, and did not even realize what was going on. The beer spilled all over the seat and floor, I was about 10 or 11 years old and remember it like it was yesterday. Pretty expensive to do in this day and age.
November 21, 20169 yr Never seen Louisville basketball. Have seen U of L football vs UK and Miami a few times.
November 22, 20169 yr Author I've only been to Freedom Hall once. When I was going to Marquette, a friend and I drove from Milwaukee down to Louisville to see Doc Rivers and the Warriors lose to the Cards. Had a great time though.
