Houston 36 Louisville 10

This is a perfect example of why there's no need to go to 8 teams in the playoff.

Everything works itself out by season's end.

I'm on board with the 8 team playoff, but I can't argue with this.

It'll be interesting to see how Louisville regroups for Kentucky next weekend.

Not sure how you come back from this. This will carry over till 2017.

Do you think it will carry over through the UK game? :whistling:

It's going to eight eventually. When is the question.

Watching Petrino coach the last couple weeks makes me think of Bob Huggins. Gets good players, coaches his system well, then spends the whole ball game focused on yelling at refs instead of coaching his team and making adjustments.

The last 2 weeks has reminded of a Coach who is spending time on looking to move on...

Please elaborate. :lol2:

I don't like Petrino the person, but I think he is a top 5 college football coach in America...With that said 7 out of the last 8 QTRS of U of L football have been putrid...nothing like what I expect from a Petrino team.

With 3 or 4 big time jobs coming open, I can't help but wonder if his attention hasn't been on other things...We all know back door talks and agent meetings happen all over the country at this time of year.

Do I think Petrino would be silly to leave UofL for an LSU, Texas, or Notre Dame.... yes...do I think his ego is so big it would be hard for him to turn down going to a bigger fish...yes

I don't see your logic at all, but to each his own I guess.

It's about focus...if you chase 2 rabbits, you won't catch either one.

I absolutely think he'd be interested in the LSU job. He'd have no shot, nor interest IMO, in the other two.

Petrino can be the most focused man on the earth and if his team doesn't produce it's irrelevant. You're reaching.

"Attitude reflects Leadership"

I guess Bobby Petrino wasn't able to steal Houston's plays before the game

Too Soon? lol, sorry

Hellbird will be here all week. Don't forget to tip your servers. How does he come up with such great material???

"Attitude reflects Leadership"

Is every coach whose team has a rough two game stretch thinking about leaving, or just Petrino?

He and Brian K are too much alike maybe for ND to consider him...But I think the boosters at Texas would be all about some Petrino...until he got there.
