Pretty simple. I'll also start a thread for the reverse so if you don't have anything nice to say head over there.

For me, I absolutely think Trump has the potential to cross party lines and work with both sides. He is by no means a conservative and has a long history of supporting both Republican and Democratic politicians. I think there is potential there and that gives me hope!

Redoing the health care mess that the Dems pushed.

Reducing the regulatory burden placed by unelected bureaucrats.

Firing everyone at the top of the IRS.

Real tax reform.

Appointing Supreme Court justices that interpret the Constitution and don't overreach.

Probably the same as fkyw. He doesn't appear beholden to the party or ideology (though his advisers certainly suggest the opposite), so he might end up rankling Republicans and Democrats alike and simply pursue what's popular or effective.

Defund Planned Parenthood from taxpayer dollars. There are plenty of clinics that can take up the slack for the alleged "good things" they do.

Appointing Supreme Court justices that interpret the Constitution and don't overreach.

This.

The Supreme Court.

The fact that the American electorate is reminded that they control who becomes president, not the pollsters and certainly not the media.

I agree on the Supreme Court and I am hoping our long term Economy will prosper.

Didn't he put out a list of potential SC Justices? Or did he just refer to a list?

He put out a list.

This article contains the names...

My hope is that you have both Houses and a President from the same side of aisle. I hope they can get something accomplished. I hope what they accomplish benefits our nation.

That's my hope. That's my prayer.

I'm hopeful he will work across party lines as well.

This, plus the reduction of regulations and government over reaching that are strangling businesses and encroaching on all of our lives.

Repeal of the ACA.
