November 7, 20169 yr It's really scary to think how when we watch something on TV, we really have no clue if what they are 'reporting' is scripted, if they are standing in front of a green screen, etc. Almost everything we see on screens COULD be staged.

I can disagree with this, however. This sounds like a rogue producer and possibly on-air reporter doing whatever they can and ignoring proper ethics in order to get their story. There's a time and place for staged shots, but that time and place absolutely should never involve hard news. Staged shots are for featurey/feel-good stories.
