Tom Brady: Will He Win the MVP?

Featured Replies

With the midway point of the season upon us, this seems to be the topic of conversation all over the place today....Can/Will Brady win the MVP this season having missed the 1st 4 games?

If they win out, which is getting increasingly likely IMO, and he keeps playing at this level, I think he can & will win it.

That's a lot of ifs, but it's definitely possible.

Right now, I think it's Elliott. But there's still a lot of football to be played

No, in spite of being deserving, I don't think a guy who missed 25% of the season will be the MVP.

I also think Goodell would straight rig the process to make sure he doesn't win.

Say they end up 15-1, he goes for 4,000 yards, 30+ TDs, and doesn't throw a pick....Still no?

Missing the games whether he did it or not means no MVP in my opinion. Is he the best in the league? I think so

If he keeps up on the pace he's at it's his.

I'll go ahead and cast my homer pick for AJ Green if they can sneak into the playoffs and he maintains his level of play. IMO, Brady is the best player in the league though.

I like Matt Ryan at this point, but if Tom keeps this up, I wouldn't be surprised to see him take it.

I can soooooooooooo see this happening.

Carr has to be in the conversation as well.

Right now the top 5 for me:

1. Matt Ryan

2. Tom Brady

3. Ezekiel Elliott

4. Derek Carr

5. AJ Green

If the Pats win all 12 games Brady plays in and his stats are on par with everyone else's it he is the no brainer MVP choice.

Matt Ryan? Really...I have never been a fan, Brady/Elliott right now. Best 2 players in opposite leagues, and right now best 2 teams. That however may change
