NKY knee specialist recommendation

Featured Replies

My knee has bothered me the last few months. I feel it's time for a consultation and wanted to start my search. Any orthopedic physicians BGP prefers?

I had Dr. Bilbo for my full ACL tear surgery! He did a hamstring graph and fixed me right up! I would recommend him.

Commonwealth orthopedic

Seconded

Bilbo.

Go ahead and close the thread.

I highly recommend Dr. Colosimo. He fixed me up when I tore my ACL, MCL and Lateral Meniscus and I feel fantastic!

Two total knee replacements by Dr. Colosimo. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

He did my ACL surgery back in 2010 as well.

I believe he used to and probably still does handle all the NKU knee injuries.

Beacon Orthopedics, Dr.Kremchek did my daughters acl 6 or 7 years ago.

Unfortunately we have plenty experience with Orthopedics in the region. You ask around and they all have their fair share of successes and failures. With that said - whether you select Commonwealth, Cincy Sports Medicine, Beacon, Wellington, or someone else - pick someone who specializes in knees.

I would avoid doctors who do it all (knees, shoulders, ankles) etc. One of the recommendations in this thread is that guy.

I know in this case we are talking about an adult, but if we are talking about a kid - I would recommend Cincy Children's Orthos.
