Seems like now the Red Devil "spinning it to anything but their loss" is taking over. I don't have a dog in this fight so to speak, just that Raceland and Ashland school systems has some strong ties I believe in sports and other areas as well. You are welcome to keep my post and use it devil since you are having trouble coming up with anything yourself.

:thumb: You are correct in that Ashland & Raceland do have ties. It seems that some have a hard time dealing with a loss after they pretty much shoved defeat down the opponents throat before the game was even played.

Those that live in glass houses should not throw stones. Clark is very emotional and plays his guts out. Yeah, sometimes he reacts without using his best judgement but name me one teenage kid that doesn't. Yourself included when you were that age. Talk about not alot of class.:sssh:

 

I couldn't agree with you more. My son said that McDavid was talking trash all night long as well. It's typical friday night football with 2 teams going at each other , getting in each others ears, trying to get an edge. I also would like to make a comment about your earlier post #138. The snapper position is truly an underappreciated one. I could tell he was upset after the snap in regulation, but Kudos to him for coming right back and making 2 outstanding snaps in OT.

I know Cordle looked pretty good against Greenup in some limited action. He is only a soph. so I don't know if he is ready to step in just yet. Sizemore is another option at QB. I know he is Russell's best reciever (this should sound familiar to Ashland fans), but he looked pretty good in the preason throwing the ball and has the athleticism to play anywhere the coaching staff would choose to use him.

 

Coach McGlone has always done a good job of finding the right spot to put his players to maximize their talent for the good of the team. I have confidence that he will do the same again this year. After all he sees them every day and is a better judge on this subject than we are.

 

I agree I don't think AJ is quite ready yet, but he is going to be a good one if he continue to improve. I really liked the Power-I that Russell came out with in the 2nd half. Wills(56) and Foster(53) did a great job in the backfield, but as someone said it does limit the options as to who gets the ball. An idea Ivan could try is something he used last year and that is have an extra jersey ready for either Wills or Foster to switch into. Both have played fullback in their early years and at least it would make the defense have to watch for somebody else. Just a thought.

Talk about spin. You continue talking around the subject, infering insults all the while complementing in another breath to maintain the illusion of political correctness.
