The problem with the Camels is most of the best athletes are playing basketball.

 

The problem with the Camels is they are inept on offense. And it's not for lack of talent.

I don't know everything, not even close, but I do know I'd take my chances with Stephen Lickert every day of the week.

Most exciting game of the night. CC was up 14-6 late in the fourth quarter. Boone got the ball down inside the ten yard line with time running out. They had 4 downs to score. CC stopped them on 3 plays. 4th down Boone had its jumbo package in and the ball carrier followed the blocks into the end zone. CC up 14-12. Less than 25 seconds on the clock. Boone County got the two point conversion with 24.8 seconds remaining. Fans and players celebrate the tie!

 

BC kicks off and then intercepts on the first play but time runs out. OT.

 

Boone got the ball first on the 10 yard line. They had 4 plays to get in and could not. CC gets their turn at the 10. They run three plays and can get no closer than the 5 yard line. They bring on the field goal kicker. They hike the ball, the kick goes up and it is blocked! Rebel fans go crazy.

 

It goes for a second round of OT and this time CC goes first. Three plays and they get nowhere. On fourth down they go back to pass and throw towards the right corner of the end zone near the goal line. Boone County's Payton Shoemaker deflects the pass away, a sure TD if not deflected. This was the same kid that blocked the FG.

 

So Boone takes over at the 10 and on the first play Ka-Don Harris goes around the end for the score. BC gets the victory. The first win in 3 years. And it came on Senior night. Someone wrote a perfect script for this.

 

Congratulations to the Boone County Rebels for a much deserved win. And a special word of congratulations to all the seniors who have worked so hard and never gave up. I am so happy for them and are very proud of those young men.

Well clearly the players don't believe in him.. And you can have him every day of the week.. You'll just be on the losing side 6 out of 7 days of the week. Except for when you play the worst highlands team ever. It would be one thing if he cared about kids and was trying to make them better ppl but I can promise you that's not the case. He only cares about W's and L's... That's exactly why kids don't buy into his brand, which is starting to look worse by the minute

Congrats to the Rebels. They never quit and made every play when they needed it. That team grinds. They took advantage of several Camels miscues and they deserved to win this game. Even in the loss for my Camels, I'm happy for the Rebels seniors. This is a game they'll forever remember and they earned this win.
