I think it's another 3 point game that cold go either way. Again, I'll take the Birds but they'll have to play pretty flawless. It's definitely possible, these kids play hard at all times...

I don't think RP will lose this bet, but will you settle for a fillet?
I can't take credit for that one. I copied it from one of his posts.
Maybe that is why that they never seem to be able to close the door on Elder. :creepy:
Yeah! Just like that problem you have with Trinity. :thumb:
...that cold go either way.
It should be a lot warmer than the last game.

:D

The Tigers go into every game they play "expecting to win". Every good team worth their salt does this. Unless you are a masochist, if you don't think you can win, why even play the game?

In regards to the "punch you in the mouth" comment, that is why they invented face masks. Have you ever thrown a punch at one and looked at your hand afterwards...a BLOODY mess...stupid move. To make it even worse, you have these zebras roaming the field watching for these signs of frustration and throwing silly little yellow flags. Fifteen yards later you think to yourself, "How can I be so dumb?" :D

You are right...I should have said "Win easily"...

Punch in the mouth.. come on now.. its coachspeak...although one Bird will have to sit this week because I think he tried to literally punch someon in the mouth... not sure though.... like that guy said in Hogans Heros... I see nuffin.....

79 degrees, partly sunny with 30% chance of rain........there you go...

Tim Hedrich signing off...

Yeah! Just like that problem you have with Trinity. :thumb:

We at least have a winning record against the pebbles. Have you ever got beyond "the close but no cigar" stage against Elder? :D

But, every HHS/Elder game has been competitive.

HHS has the most state titles in KY can someone confirm this?

Tied with Trinity at 16.

Last year the game was 45-0. I think X is about as good as they were last year. I don't think Highlands is 45 points better than they were last year. I think this is a 2-3 touchdown game in X's favor.

Highlands has shown they can play though based on their performance against Elder.

Tell me again what that has to do with St. X? Quite frankly, if schools Elder, X, Trinity, Colerain size don't beat HHS every year they're a joke.

BTW, was that you sporting a Colerain shirt last year?

I will have to say St. X wins this one by a couple of touchdowns. I haven't read all the posts in this thread and this may have already been discuused, but this game is scheduled to be televised on Fox Sports Ohio, is that right? Man I hope so, this one will be fun to watch.

:thumb: You are absolutely correct that these schools should beat HHS more times then not but it is the HHS faithful that continually insist that they will beat schools of this size and I commend them for thinking they can. It just seems that after they lose they start with the comments like yours. They have an incrediblie record against the best in Ky and should be very proud as we all know they are. Competing against the best in Ohio and in some cases the best in Louisville is usually a step up in class for HHS. A class where they can at most times give the other team a pretty good game but more times then not a game they aren't going to win..Nothing to be embarassed by though. At least they go and play them..
